Day 01 | Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive in Entebbe, Uganda’s lakeside gateway. You’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your flight time, take a relaxed walk along Lake Victoria or unwind in the gardens of your accommodation. Tomorrow, your wildlife journey through Uganda’s diverse landscapes begins.
Day 02 | Murchison Falls National Park
Travel northwest to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rare opportunity to track rhinos on foot. Continue to the park and settle in near the Nile. Enjoy your first evening surrounded by riverine forest and open savannah.
Day 03 | Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Head out at sunrise for a game drive across the northern savannah, home to elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and more. In the afternoon, board a boat and cruise the Nile upstream toward Murchison Falls. Watch hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the way before viewing the powerful falls from below.
Day 04 | To Kibale National Park
Cross Uganda’s heartland on a scenic drive southwest to Kibale, known for its rich rainforest and primate diversity. Arrive in the afternoon and check in to your forest lodge. The landscape shifts from savannah to lush, rolling hills as you get closer to the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Day 05 | Chimp Trek & Bigodi Swamp Walk
Begin the day tracking wild chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, often considered Africa’s best place to see them. Spend an hour observing their social behavior up close. In the afternoon, take a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp—a community-run wetland reserve rich in birds, monkeys, and local plant life.
Day 06 | Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a landscape of crater lakes, acacia woodland, and grassland savannah. Watch for game along the way. Settle into your lodge overlooking the park and prepare for upcoming wildlife encounters, including tree-climbing lions and elephant herds that roam across the Kasenyi plains.
Day 07 | Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise
Begin with a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth’s prime wildlife areas. Spot lions, hyenas, Uganda kob, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lakes Edward and George. The shoreline teems with hippos, buffalo, elephants, and over 600 species of birds.
Day 08 | Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Travel south through terraced hills and rural villages to reach Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is home to nearly half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Your lodge is nestled in the forest or on its edge—setting the stage for your unforgettable trekking experience.

Day 09 | Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast and briefing, head into the forest with expert trackers to locate a habituated gorilla family. The hike can be challenging but rewarding. Spend one unforgettable hour with these gentle giants in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge with memories that will last a lifetime.
Day 10 | Bwindi to Kigali
Cross into Rwanda by road and continue to Kigali. The drive offers sweeping views of both countries’ rural highlands. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore Kigali’s artisan markets or enjoy a farewell lunch before your airport transfer and onward departure.
