Day 01 | Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive in Entebbe, Uganda’s lakeside city on the edge of Lake Victoria. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. If time allows, unwind in the botanical gardens or along the waterfront. A peaceful start before heading into Uganda’s rainforest and wildlife regions.
Day 02 | Kibale Forest National Park
Depart Entebbe and travel west through lush countryside and small towns toward Kibale Forest, one of East Africa’s best primate habitats. Arrive by late afternoon and check in at your lodge near the forest. Enjoy views of crater lakes, tea plantations, and the distant Rwenzori Mountains.
Day 03 | Chimpanzee Trekking
Head into Kibale Forest with expert trackers for a guided chimpanzee trek. Follow their calls through the dense canopy until you find a habituated group. Spend an hour observing them up close—feeding, grooming, and interacting. Later, take an optional walk through Bigodi Swamp, rich in birds and local culture.
Day 04 | Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its varied habitats and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, cruise the Kazinga Channel, where elephants, hippos, buffalo, and crocodiles gather along the shores. Watch the birdlife soar as the sun lowers across the water.
Day 05 | Ishasha Game Drive & Bwindi
Explore the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. After a morning game drive, continue south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The winding drive offers scenic views of terraced hills and remote villages. Arrive at your lodge near the forest for a quiet evening.
Day 06 | Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Visit
Rise early for your gorilla trek. After a briefing, follow guides into the forest to locate a gorilla family. Once found, spend a powerful hour in their presence. Later, meet members of the Batwa community—forest dwellers who share stories, music, and their deep connection to the land.
Day 07 | Departure via Entebbe or Kigali
After breakfast, begin your return journey. Choose to fly back to Entebbe or drive across the border into Kigali, depending on your international flight. Optional stops en route may include local markets or craft centres. Depart with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wildlife, rainforests, and warm hospitality.
